About

DJ Sable crafts deep house and melodic techno that blends jazz-inflected harmonies with the hypnotic pulse of Berlin's underground club scene.

DJ Sable (born Isabelle Moreau) is a French-Canadian electronic music producer and DJ based in Berlin. Her sound draws from deep house, melodic techno, and jazz — warm analog synths layered over driving four-on-the-floor rhythms, with chord progressions that borrow more from Bill Evans than from typical dance music. After cutting her teeth in Montreal's late-night scene, Sable relocated to Berlin in 2022 and quickly became a fixture at Panorama Bar, Watergate, and ://about blank. Her debut EP "Maison" on Innervisions received widespread support from Dixon, Solomun, and Âme, establishing her as one of the most exciting new voices in European electronic music. She has been a resident DJ at Watergate since 2024 and has played at Dekmantel, Sónar, and Awakenings. Her DJ sets are known for extended, hypnotic builds that reward patient dancers — her Boiler Room set from Berlin has over 2 million views on YouTube. Sable's production process is intentionally analog-heavy: a Juno-106, a Moog Sub 37, and a collection of vintage drum machines form the backbone of her studio sound.
